Action Alert – Refugee Resettlement

Thanks to our friends at Refugee Resettlement Relief for this critical update:

ACTION ALERT-Call your members of the House and Senate (202-224-3121) and ask them to vigorously oppose the Refugee Resettlement funding contained in the Omnibus Spending Bill that will be voted on by 12-11-15!

Please call by this Friday, Dec. 4th.

The Omnibus Spending bill is before congress right now. It will fund Refugee Resettlement for the next fiscal year.  If we can get the money cut out of this bill Refugee Resettlement will be halted. Congress must pass a spending bill by December 11 to avoid a government shutdown.

Please call your U.S. Senator and member of the U.S. House of Representatives TODAY

The U.S. Capitol switch board will assist you in finding the right elected official.

Tell your members of congress IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS THAT YOU WANT THEM TO SUSPEND REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT FUNDING IMMEDIATELY.

If we lose on this money issue then you can expect thousands of refugees from 10 middle eastern countries, all Muslims, to locate here in Georgia.  They won’t go only to Clarkston, Clarkston overtaken. They will go to YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD. The Refugee Resettlement Act gives the resettlement contractors authority to send them to any town, city, neighborhood, street, or location deemed suitable by RR advocates—that means next to you! This includes at least 10,000 Syrian refugees plus asylees, Syrian green card holders, Syrian chain migrants and numerous other exceptions to the Immigration and Naturalization Act.

We must act now. Congress will not cut the 2017 budget in the last days of the Obama administration right before the election, so it’s now or never!

Georgia is Bleeding.
Your influence counts, use it to halt the Refugee Crisis!
