The Democratic Party is looking to put what those in the election business would call “very strong Democrats” on the state’s highest court. Witness what we see from a few liberal activists on the US Supreme Court and realize how this could affect Georgia for years to come.
Georgia does not register voters by party, so the only way to determine political leaning is by looking at the voting record. It is not possible to determine how someone votes, but it is easy to look at the ballot style (Democrat, Republican, Non-Partisan) that the voter selects when they vote in a primary. Add to that the number of times an elector casts a ballot and you get an idea of how active they are in the party.
The two challengers for the position of Supreme Court Justice in Georgia – Shamiracle Johnson Rankin and Jennifer Auer Jordan – are both extremely active and reliable voters for the Democratic Party. Voters may wish to consider the extent to which political activism influences judicial philosophy. So, for the edification of Georgians, here are the candidates’ voting records going back 10 years.
Shamiracle Johnson Rankin

Jennifer Auer Jordan

It is unusual that a candidate running for a position of judge votes in one party or the other, so it seems like these two challengers are quite proud of their political preference. Please vote accordingly!
