A WSB reporter who somehow made it into the warehouse on January 28 when the FBI collected material from the 2020 election briefly flashed the receipt that the Fulton County Superior Court Clerk, Che Alexander, signed as the federal agents drove off. The receipt showed a total of 656 boxes (not the 700 number that was widely reported).

On February 25th, the FBI released something called the Search Warrant Return, which has a slightly different inventory and shows a total of 653 boxes. The reason for the difference is that 18 pallets were wrapped in plastic, and the agents executing the warrant did not remove the plastic to count the individual boxes; they just estimated the total.

Here is the image of the original handwritten receipt (case number 56D-AT-4180544).
